IFMA Orlando Committees
Recruits and aids in retention of members. Serve as welcome hosts to any new members attending events. Follows up on new and expiring members.
Ensures that events and materials are available to assist members in obtaining or maintaining their CFM Certifications. Coordinates CFM Roundtable webinars. Submits courses and programs to IFMA HQ for CEU and maintenance points.
The Programs Committee is committed to bringing high quality, intermediate to advanced level educational programs to Facility Management Professionals so that they can advance their careers and expand their professional development.
You asked…we listened…Surveys went out to our FM membership and the requests were overwhelmingly in favor for more technical, high-level topics where the information learned can be utilized in day-to-day operations.
Our goal in 2014 is to provide (7) Programs and (3) Tours, offering several breakfast programs, several lunch programs and all tours after hours. Our Programs will be on the move…one month we will be in Orlando, the next in Heathrow and the next in Clermont. .. Our goal is to bring the programs to it’s members.

Would you like to join our committee? We are always looking for “new” ideas.
The goal and purpose of the social committee is to create meaningful events that will serve as a platform for IFMA Orlando’s Professional members and Associate members to connect, develop, network and engage on a personal level in a social atmosphere conducive to achieving and fulfilling our goal and purpose. Social events/tours usually held after hours; Usually 2 or 3 per year.
Public Relations/Community Relations
Writes press releases, supplies leads, makes contact with media to get more exposure to IFMA and the FM profession. Researches and communicates with chosen community organizations that IFMA has agreed to align with.
Recruits Yearly sponsors as well as individual event sponsors.

If you have an announcement, helpful information, job lead, etc to share with members, please send it to the chapter to be included in the weekly updates that are sent out.
Represent the Greater Orlando Chapter of IFMA with the highest respect and ability to assist Facility Managers to meet their fullest professional potential through an effective marketing program. Raise awareness of the professional benefits and networking opportunities for our members. To assist our fellow committee members in successfully promoting and coordinating IFMA events.
